Billy
McLauglin Don Ross Of the many fine releases by
American acoustic guitarists, Billy McLauglin's Out
of Hand really stands out as very supple, inventive
and lyrical. He gets your attention with catchy
melodies that hook you and reel you in.
Don Ross employs a faster,
more staccato style on his album Passion Session,
and his way with the strings has him interweaving
multiple melodies simultaneously without ever
getting lost. He is the first two time winner of
the U.S. fingerstyle guitar competitions held every
year in Kansas.
