The album opens with the beautiful "The White Spirit" from Uman's 1997 release, "Path" and flows on from there almost seamlessly for almost an hour. There are some of the brightest moments from the Windham Hill catalog represented here.Besides Uman, we are treated to selected compositions by Shadowfax, Michael Hedges, Patrick O'Hearn, Will Ackerman, Michael Manring, Nightnoise, Ray Lynch, Yanni, Phillip Aaberg, and Michael DiGrassi. The cover art fits the music very well. By the time you reach the end of Music forYoga Practice, any sign of tension you may have had will likely be long gone The selections work together in a very cohesive soothing manner. The album gently slows down mental chatter, releasing stress and stimulating the imagination. This is a very relaxing and creative way to utilize stretching and yoga exercise. As you incorporate this album into your asanas, ( yoga exercises) you can greatly inhance its positive impact on your daily routine. Very effective! Review by Ben Kettlewell information: |
